I'm getting good at this shit!

I'm so impressed with myself.
I'm going to just take moment to bask in my awesomeness...aand done.

I've been updating weekly like a fucking pro! Are you guys happy? Because I sure as fuck am.
Ok.

Today, I haz a recipe. Yep. Made up off of the top of the dome piece by my own self. God, I'm amazing.

Here I am modeling the deliciousness of this dessert...I made it for my aunt's superbowl party and it was a hit, as usual. I only make the best shit around, people. I thought you knew...

Okey dokey.

Vegan Chocolate Cream Pie by SNorine (moi)

12 oz melted vegan chocolate chips (I personally LOVE dark chocolate chips)
1 Tbsp agave nectar
12 oz (or 1 tetrapack) silken tofu

1 pre-made vegan pie crust

Process the first 3 ingredients until smooth like pudding. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate for at least an hour. Simple right? That's just how I do.

Also! My good friend and co-host of Midwest Vegan Radio, a kickass, FREE vegan podcast on iTunes, turned another year older! Happy birthday Ryan! My friend, Melissa and Chelsea (who was just on the last episode of the radio show btdubs), made vegan "unicorn shit" cookies and vegan whoopie pies for the Moksha Yoga party Ryan threw for everyone. Both were amazingly delish.

To celebrate Ryan's birthday, a hoard of vegan (and non-vegans) enjoyed a delicious meal at Urban Eatery in Minneapolis. Here's what I had!:

That is the roasted veggie sammy with a side of sweet potato fries. This place is really nice because although the vegan options are not labeled, they are completely open to making sure every part of your meal is vegan down to the very last morsel. Kickass! And of course the sammy was delectable. Psh. Like I'd eat anything that wasn't.

Happy birthday Ryan-I love you!

Let's get down to biznassssss!

Ok, here I go.
It has been quite a while since I have posted something legit lately, so here goes everything. I've been making some huge changes in my life, and I also got out of town for a couple of days courtesy of my lovely cousin and his wife in Washington, D.C. but I will blog about that experience at a later date-pinky swear.

First! I wanted to take a moment to discuss something that's become very near and dear to my heart...and body.
Ready??

HOT YOGA. Yep.
This entry is not about food my friends, but the benefits of doing hot yoga. I attend Moksha Yoga in Minneapolis. They have a karma yoga class that only cost $5 every Friday. Ugh it's soooooo good. It's like therapy, but not just for your mind, but your body as well. The gist of it is basically, you're holding yoga poses in 105 degree heat. It's pretty kickass and kind of schmexy and I may have balled every single session so far. Like I said, it'll make you sweat out the heavy stuff.

I will tell you nothing but the truth. I have been going through the biggest change in my life this last month, and it has been difficult. Going to hot yoga every week has allowed me to sweat out all of the bullshit, and I kid you not. It is FREEING. And at Moksha Yoga, they make it an experience. It is cleansing for my emotional and mental well-being. I'd recommend it to anyone that is open to new experiences. I've also linked Moksha Yoga up there so you can visit the site. Check out hot yoga in your area. It's addicting and freaking life-changing.

Heck yes!
